Project ImPACT Training

This course series provides an introduction to the Project ImPACT framework, an evidence-based caregiver coaching approach for young children with autism and social communication delays. Participants develop foundational knowledge of family-centered intervention, coaching practices, naturalistic teaching strategies, and collaborative goal implementation.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • Explain the principles of caregiver-mediated intervention.
  • Apply foundational Project ImPACT coaching strategies.
  • Support caregiver participation during intervention sessions.
  • Embed learning opportunities into daily routines and play.
  • Promote communication, social engagement, imitation, and play through naturalistic interactions.
